Description
This was a request for a cosplay, a giant version of Celestia's cutie mark. To get it as large as possible, the patch is actually 1/2 of the circle. Each half is about 10" by 5" with 40,693 stitches each. I originally requested this from a friend with a commercial machine, but she wanted $82 to make one. That was more than the lowest commercial price I could find ($61) [link] but you needed to get 6 minimum from the commercial company. I could make it for about $16. Once I made it, I realized this would look great wrapped around a hat.
If you want one, I make them for the cost of materials: [link]

Thanks a ton for making this!! That is seriously a lot of stitches (~81,000 per cutie mark). It's been a long wait, but it looks like it's been worth it!
I'll be sure to link to the some cosplay pictures when Celestia is done. I believe it'll be the first ever life-size Celestia costume.
Sidenote:
I love the hat idea If you ever do make this for a hat, I recommend half a Luna cutie mark for the other side. That would be a cool hat (as long as it's not too heavy from so many stitches ).
